The Super Meteor 650 has been built on our enduring belief that people and journeys cannot be limited hours or miles.  At the core of the Super Meteor 650 is our iconic parallel twin engine, which offers seamless gear transitions, strong low-end acceleration and an effortless throttle response.  A low-set, wide seat and a laid back riding stance make cruising a comfortable experience, no matter how many miles are behind you and how many lie ahead.

When the Super Meteor was first announced, we fell in love with its vintage stance and laid back attitude.  We couldn’t wait to get our hands on one and start transforming it into the ultimate Iowa highway rambler.  We topped this bike with some vintage BSA Western handlebars ($100) and grips ($24), we bobbed the rear fender and crowned it with a Motone Lecter tail light ($84).  It rolls on some chunky Shinko 804/805 tires ($350) for a universal do-it-all accessibility, we threw an LED Highsider headlight ($250) into a vintage Bates 5.75″ headlight bucket, and installed a genuine Royal Enfield aluminum sump guard ($120) and Royal Enfield’s Deluxe Rider foopegs ($92).  The Zard high-mount exhaust system ($1700) for an Interceptor 650 fell into place and the whole thing was doused in a paint job that would make our forefathers proud and wouldn’t feel out of place at a ’40s hill climb.  What the hell.  If you’re gonna Ride Pure, you may as well have some fun doing it!
